 Description:

The equalizing storage tank is especially intended for heat energy optimalization control.

The boilers for lump wood can be efffectively operated only in the service range of 50 - 100%. In case of service under 50% of value the burning process is low quality which means the low efficiency, increased harmful pollutants output, the boiler and chimney sooting and the boiler lifetime shortening. The lower output than 50% is necessary for a longer time of the heating season. The boiler can be operated with the storage tank effectively even in this period whereas the surplus output is stored into the tank. If the tabk is completely charged, it is necessary to shut down the boiler and for some period (f.e. 1 day) heat up by the heat from the storage tank. The boiler is put into service again after running out of the heat. The storage tank enables to provide the heat comfort together with the quality boiler operation.

The connection of the storage tank into the heating system has a lot of advantages:

  • The storage of the surplus heat during the over-production in the thermal energy source (in the boiler)
  • Immediate supply of the cumulated heat when necessary
  • The reduction of the time demands for the heating attendance (service) because the cumulated heat can be sufficient in the transitional periods of the heating season even for several days of the heating from the reservoir without the intervention of the attendance  
  • The storage tanks with the inbuilt exchanger TUV- transfer of the thermal energy from the heating water for the heating up of the warm supply water, in the summer the advantage of usage when the warm supply water can be got by the heat up from the boiler
